Hello!! Sorry it's been about 4 weeks since my last blog:(.  It's been a busy summer so far!  I thought since it's summertime I would write a blog about fruit punch like products.  I don't know about you but I LOVE fruit punch!!! MMMMM... and now I want a big glass of fruit punch shaped ice cubes a pineapple slice and an umbrella in it.  Well onto blogging:)

First is two of the new Baby Lips shades Oh Orange and Berry Bomb.  I am obsessed with Baby lips and I plan on getting the other new flavors too.  They are reasonably priced, smell amazing, and make your lips, well like a babies lips.  These two colors are very bright and I wanted to add these to the Fruit Punch blog because when I think of fruit punch I just think of bright, juicy and fun.  I can't wait to try the others!! If and when I try them I will write about them:)

Tarte Natural Beauty cheek stain is one of my all time favorite products!  This scream sheer fruit punch color.  Its a shade that looks great on most skin colors.  I love to wear this on my cheeks with a sheer lip gloss or balm with just a little mascara for a more natural make up day.  It just gives a nice healthy glow.  One thing about the Tarte Cheek Stains, they last FOREVER!!!  Worth the splurge!

This next product is something I just took a chance on since Macy's had a sale and they were a couple dollars each. Its Material Girl Flirty Fruity, It smells like fruit punch sweet tarts.  I get so many compliments when I wear this that I smell like yummy fruity candy.  The scent lasts quite a while and is light and uplifting.  If you like smelling like sweet fruit punch candy you would love this!!

So this next product is also a scented product.  Its Marc Jacobs Daisy Eau So Fresh.  This is a new scent for summer, and is very fruity and light.  I smell strawberry and a fruity floral.  This is a great day time scent and best for spring and summer.

My last product tonight is a candle.  If you have been following my blog you obviously know candles and yummy smelling stuff is my FAV!!!  Yankee Candle Berry Tangerine candle literally screams fruit punch!  I want to stick a straw into this candle and start drinking it, ok that's gross but it really smells good enough to eat/drink.

Case of the BLUES....

Hello!! Well It's been forever since I wrote in my blog!! I wanted to be able to write about a few products I'm loving right now.  This is kind of a shorter blog as it's after midnight and need to get to sleep.  Also this blog is more random products and not all beauty products.... So hope yo9u enjoy!!

 

The first thing today is Scensty scent bar in Thunderstorm.  If you love the smell of rain and spring this is a definite scent for you!  I love how this makes my house smell so fresh and clean with a touch of cozy.  

This next one is Batiste original dry shampoo.  Now I have tried many dry shampoos and I have actually a few favorites, but since I'm writing about "blue" products well this one has a blue can ;) lol!  This is a fresh scent to it and I just love how it really revives my hair the second day!

The third product is body products.  Victoria secrets Aqua Kiss body lotion and body splash.  I have been wearing this scent a lot lately.  I really love the aqua, beach smell it gives me.  I get a lot of compliments on this when I mix it with certain perfumes.

I LOVE this laundry softner!!  This is very fresh with a touch of sweetness!  This sounds weird but it makes me think of the color blue when smelling this!  Its just such a fresh water scent that I wish I could have a perfume in!! ;) 

Last is just a OPI nail polish called Blue my mind.  Its a beautiful "true" blue.  I'm very into blues, greys, blacks, deep reds for nail polishes.  I'm not really a pastel kind of girl with my nails.

Well this is probably my shortest blog, but I felt horrible for not writing and reviewing products for a while now.  If you're ever in a "blue" mood maybe try some of these favorites of mine!!!

Soothing Vanilla Dreams

Hello!  Today I am writing about some relaxing and comforting products that I really love.  If you like soft and calming scents I am sure you would love all these products I will be writing about.  So lets start with the first product :)

The first product is Ahava Dead Sea Vanilla bath salts.  This bath salt has a very soft calming vanilla scent.  I honestly feel super relaxed after taking a bath in this and I love the way it makes my bath smell!  It also leave a nice soft vanilla scent on my body after the bath.

The next product is one of my favorite candles.  Natures Wick Vanilla Dolce candle.  This is a relaxing scent and the best part of these candles is the wic.  The wic is made from wood and it crackles like a fireplace burning.

This next one is Nivea Vanilla & Macadamia Kiss Lip Butter.  This smells good enough to eat and leaves your lips soft and glossy.  I use it at night right before bed so I can have soothing vanilla scented lips while I fall asleep.

The last product tonight is Trader Joes Organic Ginger Pear White Tea.  This is my favorite tea right now!!  I can drink this tea all day long.  The smell of the tea is AMAZING!!  I found out about this tea a few weeks ago when I was working at the clinic one day.  I had a very upset stomach and had a very long day of surgeries ahead of me.  I drank a few cups of this and I swear it made my stomach better.  I now drink this almost every day because its so flavorful and light and there is zero bitterness to the tea.  I definitely give this tea 5 stars!!!!


*** So last I thought I would add a little recipe I just made this week that I found from Pinterest.  This is not my own recipe like I said this is a pinterest recipe.  I made these and put some in my coffee, and chai tea.  They are sooooooo good!!!  

Ingredients

• 2 c. almond or refrigerated coconut milk
• 1/3 c. granulated sugar
• 1 vanilla bean
• 1 tsp. vanilla (optional--add for more intense vanilla flavor)

Instructions

1. Combine almond milk and sugar in a large saucepan. Slice open vanilla bean lengthwise and scrape insides into saucepan, then place empty vanilla bean into mixture. Bring to a simmer over medium heat, whisking to break up clumps of vanilla. Once mixture has come to a simmer, reduce heat to low and cook 10 minutes more, whisking occasionally.
2. Allow vanilla mixture to come to room temperature. Pour through a fine mesh strainer into a bowl with a spout, then pour mixture into ice cube trays. Freeze until completely solid, 3-4 hours (depending on the temperature of your freezer and size of the cubes). Serve with iced coffee, tea, or other beverages.

SnOw DaY rAnDoMs

Hello, So today I thought I would mention some of my favorite things that made me smile today during this major snowstorm in Minnesota.  It can get depressing at times living in Minnesota with the cold and snow and hibernating inside, so its always nice to find your own little favorite pick me ups.  So here are some of mine.....

First is from one of my favorite body care lines C. Booth.  This is the Original Bath and Shower Cleanser.  This has a very soft, fresh, slightly sweet beach scent.  Its actually a very hard to explain scent but I can say this is one my FAVORITE scents!!  It just is so calming and not overpowering and makes me happy.

Next product goes a long with the C. Booth Original Bath and Shower Cleanser.  This is C. Booth Original Bath and Body Oil.  This smells the same as the cleanser and I get SOOOOO many compliments when I wear this.  It stays on the body for most the day, and its nice to put some in a bath and soak, or you can get out of shower and rub all over body.  It's a very moisturizing body oil, and I like that it sinks in and doesn't leave me feeling greasy.  I am wearing it now after my bath and I can't stop sniffing my arm.  MMMMM so good!!!!

The next two products are two of my Yankee Candles.  The first one is Creme Brulee, which smells like heaven in a jar.  Little random fact, Creme Brulee is my favorite dessert.  The second is Vanilla Clouds which is a light sweet vanilla scent mixed with freshness.  I have Creme Brulee burning downstairs and the Vanilla Clouds is burning next to me on my nightstand. 

My next product is from a line called Youngliving.  This is an essential oil called Valor.  I put this on my wrists or the back of my next and it just makes me feel calm and grounded.  I can't really explain the scent, it's a very herbal/Earthy scent.  I normally don't like the herbal scents but this one is different.  I like the way it mixes with my chemistry.  I normally just wear it when I want to lay in bed and read or relax. 

This next one is one of my favorite wines I get at Trader Joes.  It's a sweet moscato wine called Sara Bee.  I believe its about $6.00, so very reasonable for a tasty smooth wine!  I suggest if you like sweet wines to try this one!! I love to take a hot bubble bath and have a glass.

This product is from C.O Bigelow called Rose Salve.  It's just a rose scented thick vaseline like balm.  I have it on my nightstand to put on my cuticles or if my lips are very dry.  It can be used on feet, hands, lips, face, etc.  It's very gentle and is amazing!!!  The rose scent is light and not overpowering.  This is a great product to have on hand especially during winter.

So I just painted my nails with this color from OPI.  It's called My Private Jet.  This has been one of my favorite colors for a long time.  Its a sublte sparkly dark taupe/greyish color.  I can't really explain the color you just have to see it.  Its such a nice dark color.  I tend to be into darker colors all year round and I like this one for spring.  This is also a great color to wear for a interview or business event.

The next product is a cheek stain by Tarte.  This color is Dollface which is a perfect pale pinky color.  It gives me the perfect flushed cheek.  Since it's a cream base it makes my cheeks look very "dewy".  These cheek stains come in a range of colors and the product lasts SOOOOOO long!!!  I have worn the cheek stains for a few years and never get sick of them.

So on my lips today I have on one of Loreal Colour Riche Balms.  The color is Tendre Mauve which is a pale mauve/nude color.  I love the texture of these balms and I really love this color.  It just gives the perfect amount of color when you are not looking for a bright lip.

My next product is the little tiny mini Vaseline Cocoa butter jar.  This is only .25oz, so if you can imagine how little it is.  It's maybe a little smaller then a ping pong ball.  It's so adorable and I really love having this next to me on my nightstand.  I put it on a few times a night or if I wake up in the middle of the night.  i like my lips to be really soft and never to crack.  I also am addicted to the light cocoa butter scent.

So last today is a product I was lucky enough to win from a chiropractors office my friend Tavia works for.  It's Called Irwin Naturals Immuno-Shield.  Let me first day I was kind of skeptical when Tavia said since she has been taking this she never gets sick.  Well I started taking it and for the most part when I feel myself starting to get a cold or run down I take the amount recommended and I knock on wood haven't really been sick.  I will maybe get a very light one day sickness that most people are sick with for days to weeks.  Now I also take a Wellness C-1000 and a super B complex.  I think that all of those combined really make me feel better, have more energy and for the most part keep the sickness away.  The Immuno-Shield has things like Vit C, Vit E, Zinc, Echinacea, oregano oil etc.  Now please now one before you take any vitamins/ supplements to get a doctors ok, and to also know not everything works the same for everyone.  What works for me may not work for you.

Sweet Glow

Hello! So sorry it's been a few days since I wrote in my blog.  I had a crazy 3 day rotation with work.  I apologize if I ramble in this since I am going on a few hours of sleep in the past 3 days.  First I wanted to mention one of my many favorite lotions. This lotion is from a line called C.Booth.  This line is has some amazing products that are very reasonably priced.  This is called Apricot Oil Firming Body Lotion.  This smells like Smarties candy!  If you like smelling sweet like candy you will love this lotion!  It really moisturizes, and the scent lasts a few hours.  I like to layer this scent after using a sweet, candy, fruity body wash and with one of my sweet smelling perfumes.  Its a great spring/summer lotion.

Next is two bronzers from the line Benefit.  These two are my favorite!  First is Hoola which is a perfect tan.  There is no shimmer in this so it can look very natural.  You barely need to use any since its very pigmented.  If you are fair like me I suggest tapping the excess off the brush then very lightly brush it on skin.  The second is Dallas which is an amazing cool toned  bronzer.  It has a slight shimmer but still very natural.  This is a perfect bronzer for fair skin. It has a very faint rosy tint that really adds the natural sun kissed glow. If you are looking for that perfect glow for summer I would suggest trying one of these bronzers.  One added bonus is these have a nice smell to them also.

Last today is a product I can't get enough of!  Benefit Watts up!  This is a highlighting stick that gives the perfect glow to the cheeks and any areas of face you want to highlight.  I love that when I put this on in the morning it literally lasts all day until I wash my face at night.  You don't need very much of this so this stick lasts a VERY long time!  Benefit has so many products I could rave about.  They have such a great line with fun names to all their products.

Next is two bronzers from the line Benefit.  These two are my favorite!  First is Hoola which is a perfect tan.  There is no shimmer in this so it can look very natural.  You barely need to use any since its very pigmented.  If you are fair like me I suggest tapping the excess off the brush then very lightly brush it on skin.  The second is Dallas which is an amazing cool toned  bronzer.  It has a slight shimmer but still very natural.  This is a perfect bronzer for fair skin. It has a very faint rosy tint that really adds the natural sun kissed glow. If you are looking for that perfect glow for summer I would suggest trying one of these bronzers.  One added bonus is these have a nice smell to them also.

Last today is a product I can't get enough of!  Benefit Watts up!  This is a highlighting stick that gives the perfect glow to the cheeks and any areas of face you want to highlight.  I love that when I put this on in the morning it literally lasts all day until I wash my face at night.  You don't need very much of this so this stick lasts a VERY long time!  Benefit has so many products I could rave about.  They have such a great line with fun names to all their products.

RaNdOm CoZy ThInGs ThAt MaKe Me HaPpY!

First thing I want to mention is Archipelago Oat Milk collection.  I mentioned the Oat lotion in one of my first blogs, but I wanted to talk about the whole Oat Milk collection.  This is by far my favorite lotion, bubble bath, body wash, and hand soap.  The scent is a fresh, creamy, milk and tea with a touch of honey.  I get SOOOOO many compliments when I wear this.  It's one of those scents that just makes me feel so cozy and relaxed.  If you are a fan of fresh and creamy scents definitely try the Archipelago Oat Milk collection. 

Next is Burt's Bees Coconut foot creme.  I love to take a hot bubble bath and then get out and put this foot creme on my feet.  It has a light coconut scent and is very thick so you don;t need much.  I put fuzzy thick socks on and let it work its magic.

This next one is also from Burt's Bees, its Burt's Bees Almond Milk Hand Creme.  I am almost out of this because I use it ALL the time!!  Its a slightly strong sweet almond scent, so you have to like almond scent to like this one.  I personally think I smell like a glazed doughnut once its rubbed in.  My son asked me what smelled like doughnuts after I put it on so that confirmed it.  I like warm, sweet, gourmand scents most of the time so I really like this!  I am just a fan of scent so much that I match it to my mood.  Some days I want a fresh beach scent, some days a candy lollipop scent, some days a warm cozy gourmand scent, etc....This has changed my hands life(literally).  With working with patients, to having little kids with lots of germs, I wash and sanitize my hands a TON! Since using this hand creme it has made my hands so soft and it worked within two days of using it for the first time.  If you like warm, almond scents try this hand creme!!!!

Everyone who knows me knows I am OBSESSED with candles and wax tarts.  I have way too many favorite scents but three stuck out that I tend to burn the most.  First is the Yankee Candle Jelly Donut.  This smells like a yummy berry filled jelly doughnut!  I am burning two of these as I am writing this.  The second I am also burning right now that I didn't post a picture of is the Yankee Candle Buttermilk Pancake candle, and third is Yankee Candle Creme Brulee.  Yes you can tell now that I love sweet, gourmand, foodie scents!  May I suggest if you are like me and have WAY too many candles and wax tarts to sign up for Yankee Candle rewards on their website. Yankee candle can get a little pricey so I wait for deals and coupons and you can save a ton of money!  In March they had all their wax tarts for $1, so you can really stock up when they have these sales.  I will put a link to their website below along with all the others I wrote about today.

This next product is AMAZING!!  I received this for Christmas this past year.  It's MOR Lip Macaron in Lychee.  This is sitting on my nightstand and as I am writing about this I just had to put this on.  It feels as if you are putting water on your lips and the smell is so intoxicating.  It's like candy on your lips!  I just can't get over how smooth it makes my lips.  I still want to try others from the MOR line.  Check out their website and you will see how many fun products they have from bath stuff to lip stuff. 

Last today is not a beauty product it's just my favorite drink.  I first found out about this drink a few months ago at my favorite little coffee shop called The Daily Dose.  Its called a Cafe Miel.  Now let me tell you most coffee shops do make these but they all make if somewhat different.  I personally like a sweet and creamy coffee, so that's why I like how The Daily Dose makes it.  I have found a way to make a decent Cafe Miel at my house now since I don't want to spend a few dollars everyday on a coffee.  Especially with having a nice Keurig coffee maker in my kitchen.  So I tend to go to The Daily Dose for a treat once in a while.  If you want to make your own Cafe Miel I will post a recipe down below.


* This is the recipe I use, you can change it up to your liking*

-1-2 cups brewed coffee
-1 tbs honey
-2 Tbs half n half
-dash of vanilla extract
-dash of cinnamon
-dash of nutmeg
-brown sugar to your liking

When I make this since I am trying to watch my calories, I make one cup of coffee, which is easier since my Keurig is a one cup brewing machine, I do 2 tbs half n half, 1 tbs honey, and a dash of brown sugar and then a dash of the cinnamon, nutmeg, and vanilla.  Now if it were up to me and I wasn't watching my calories I would probably use more like 3-4 tbs half n half since I LOVE creamy, milky coffee.  So you can play with this recipe and see if you enjoy it as much as I do.  I hope you liked my blog today about all my cozy things that make me happy.  Let me know if you tried any of these and loved them.  Thanks for reading! :O)

Perfectly posh!!

Hello Everyone!  So today I am writing about a line called Perfectly Posh.  I was lucky enough to try a few samples from this line and I can honestly say I LOVED every item I tried!  That is very rare for me as I tend to be picky.  I'm just soooooo impressed with the formula,scent, and overall packaging from this line.  I really liked that it really does what it says its going to do, and really smells like what it says it smells like....another rare quality.  I tried 6 items from this line so far, and I believe I will be trying some more. So once I try them I will write another blog.  I will post at the end of this where you can order your Perfectly Posh if you are interested.  I strongly believe you will not be disappointed!  So here we go!:)

This is AMAZING!!!!  If you like the scent of brown sugar, you will adore Brown Sugar Baby scrub!  I loved when I rubbed a little bit on my hand to test, it really exfoliated the dead skin off.  This left my skin so smooth and with a healthy glow.  The scent of brown sugar really stays on your skin which I really like.  I am for sure going to be ordering this product! I can't get enough of the scent and the way it makes my skin feel!

Olive You is an indulgent body butter.  Its a soft lemon and green tea olive oil butter.  The scent of this is so fresh and clean.  I really enjoyed how the body butter absorbed right into my skin not leaving me with a "greasy' feeling.  The scent really lasted most of the day.  If you are looking for the perfect fresh smelling moisturizer I suggest trying the Olive You!

The second of the body butters I was able to try is the Sassyooma.  This is the same formula as the Olive You but a different scent.  The Sassyooma is citrus scent that reminds me of a juicy clementine.  Perfect for summer. 

Next was Shameless Flirt bi fat yummy hand cream.  I think this is one of the best hand creams I have ever tried!  First off the scent is intoxicating and long lasting, and I love the formula of this hand cream.  Its moisturizing and I just can't get over how yummy the scent is! This hand cream is a perfect flirty spring scent!

Next product is Hottie Patottie Solid hand lotion bar.  I really enjoy this product!  It's so unique to have a solid hand lotion bar.  The scent is a exotic vanilla bean and brown sugar. If you use the Brown Sugar Baby scrub on your hands then use this over it your hands smell scrumptious!!!  This is very moisturizing and would be perfect for very dry hands. 

Last product is Oh Peaches super fabulous sugar lip scrub.  I am SOOOO in love with this product!!  I have tried so many lip scrubs but they don't compare to this.  This tastes like sweet peaches, is super lightweight on the lips, and makes your lips super shiny and lustrous.  You just put this on and leave it on to enrich the moisture in lips.  I can't wait to try the other flavors!!

My Easter MAC must haves and some Katy

Hi! Who's excited for the Easter bunny tomorrow?;)  I wanted to share two of my favorite MAC products that are  perfect for Easter.  This amazing nail polish is called Mischievous Mint. It's the perfect mint green!  I'm wearing it now and it just makes me think of spring and candy, so definitely perfect for Easter!

This second product is Coralbliss lipstick from MAC.  I can honestly say this is my ALL TIME favorite lipstick color.  It's the perfect peachy/pinky pale lip.  I feel like it gives my skin more of a youthful glow when I wear it. I know that sounds weird, but really try this color and you may just see what I'm talking about!  This is another perfect lip color for Easter, it too reminds me of spring and candy.

 For my final product today I wanted to mention Katy Perry lashes.  I have Oh honey and Sweetie Pie.  I am for sure a fan of her lashes! OH Sultana!!

Hello:), So today I'm going to bring it back to Lush products.  Like I said I have so many favorites from this line!  I'm starting off with Sultana soap. Its such a creamy, clean, fresh, mixed with a french bakery scent.  I love the lather this soap makes, and I really like how the scent stays on your skin for hours.  Lush is  very unique with their soaps, they cut the chunk for you.

The second product from Lush I want to talk about is Seanik  shampoo bar. I like to mix it up with my shampoos and This bar I like to use once a week to get just a really nice deep clean.  It lathers so nice and my hair feels so soft after using this bar.  The scent is a light beachy smell. I definitely want to try the other shampoo bars they have.  Its really easy to pack this for traveling.  Lush sells a little metal tin for this.  This is $11.95 and it can last over 50 shampoos. 


**Before I go I wanted to mention a very yummy candy that my friend Jordan got me addicted to, it's marketpantry sour watermelon gummy slices.  They are not sour,so it's weird they say sour.  I'm addicted to these! I can't let myself buy these very often;)
